We are very proud to be able to showcase the accomplishments of today's teens, miss, and married women. We believe that the skills learned will be a benefit that will last a lifetime.

The heart and soul of the International System is to make a difference in the lives of others through each contestant's choice of a platform or issue that they promote. Over the years we have been blessed to see thousands of lives touched by the platforms of all our ND International Queens and are excited at giving you the opportunity of a lifetime.

Areas of Competition and Scoring

 

There is no competitive judging in the International System.  Each girl is judged on her on merit and strengths.

 

 

Mrs.:   50% Interview – 40% Private Interview and 10% On Stage Interview (Scored 1-10)

            25% Fitness Wear (Scored 1-10)

            25% Evening Gown (Scored 1-10)

 

 

Miss and Teen:

            40% Interview – 30% Private Interview and 10% On Stage Interview (Scored 1-10)

            20% Fitness Wear (Scored 1-10)

            20% Evening Gown (Scored 1-10)

            20% Fun Fashion (Scored 1-10)

 

 

Junior Teen: 

            50% Interview – 40% Private Interview and 10% On Stage Interview (Scored 1-10)

            25% Evening Gown (Scored 1-10)

            25% Fun Fashion (Scored 1-10)

 

 

Opening Introductions (Not Competitive):

 

All Delegates will take part in the opening introductions for the pageant.  For this you will wear a RED or BLACK cocktail dress, romper or jumpsuit outfit of your choosing.

 

 

Rehearsals:

 

Rehearsals are non-competitive, but the judges may be making a visit to watch them.  The media may also stop by and our Photographer will be taking photos.  Wardrobe should be dressy, but comfortable.  Wear your sash and bring all your competition shoes.

 

 

Interviews:  

 

            Personal Interviews: 

Round Robin Interviews are conducted between each Judge and the Delegates.  There are a total of 5 Judges and each delegate will have a five minute interview with each judge.  No political or religious questions are allowed, unless it pertains to your platform.  Judges will keep in mind accomplishments, family/school commitment, communication skills, community involvement and overall appearance.  Dress for the interview segment may be a dress, business suit or a skirt and shirt of your choice.  No sandals are allowed for interviews.

 

            On Stage Interview Questions:

You will answer two questions on stage.  On stage questions are timed.  Answers must be completed within the allotted 30 second time frame.  For every second an answers goes over the 30 second mark, one point will be deducted from the contestants total final score.  You can wear the same outfit that you wore for private interview or you can change into a dressier option that is more geared towards an evening look.

 

            On stage interviews will be conducted as follows:

                    Part One - A prepared and memorized summary of your platform in 30 seconds. 

                    Part Two - A question that relates specifically to your platform will be asked.  The question will be unknown and your answer must                                         be 30 seconds or under. 

                    

 

 

Fitness Wear (Junior Miss Teen Contestants do not participate in Fitness Wear):

 

Each Delegate will be judged on being physically fit, energetic and healthy.

 

Fitness wear must be the Official International Fitness Wear provided through the Competitive Image.  The fitness outfit may not be altered in anyway, no adornments may be added and the inseam must remain at least three inches long.  Footwear will be an all-white tennis shoe of your choice.  Socks, if worn, should not be seen.

Evening Gown:

 

Each Delegate will select the evening gown of her choice.  Some part of the gown must touch the floor.  Evening gown will be scored of the self-confidence, poise, and grace the Delegate shows.  

 

 

Fun Fashion (Mrs. Contestants do not participate in Fun Fashion):

 

This is the modeling segment of the competition.  It is glam, glitzy and dressy; picture something you would wear as a high-fashion runway model.  It is not casual, not jeans and not an evening gown.  It should reflect your personality and should show off your flair for fashion and style.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fees

 

All fees are non-refundable.  These fees can be raised through sponsors.  You will receive a sponsor letter and fundraising ideas with your Official Pageant Handbook.

 

 

 

Application Fee:  $150.00                     This fee secures your local title until December 1st, 2015.  Once the Fee and the                                                                        form are  received, you will receive in the mail, the Official Pageant Handbook and                                                                    Paperwork.  

 

 

 

Entry Fee:   Mrs./Miss/Teen $300.00 - Jr Teen $150.00.                    As soon as your entry fee is paid in full you will                                                                                                                                receive your local sash and the right to make                                                                                                                                    appearances. Due December 1st, 2015.

 

 

Ad Fee:  You must purchase one 1/4th page ad for $150.00.                              Due December 1st, 2015.
